Curtis Hoad Properties is the property division of the Curtis Hoad Group.

The property division was first established in 1985 with the aim of placing property and other key investments into this section of the group’s business under the arrangement of a property manager to oversee business growth.

Over the years the property section of the business grew and with key properties acquired, good business growth continued through the late 90’s and into the present day.

The main business activity for the property division of the business is the Hoad Subdivision in southern NSW. Located in Tumut at the foot hills of the Snowy Mountains in the Riverina the Subdivision was the focus of one of the largest subdivisions in the Tumut region.

The subdivision caters for land sales of residential lots from 375 square meters to 1100 square meter allotments. The subdivision business also provides Land House Packages for sale.

Quality value for money properties comprising 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom house and land packages were offered for sale. The first and second time home buyers were the main focus for the business. Also the elderly people in the community who were looking to down size from the large family home were offered smaller lot’s in Stage 3 of the development. These smaller maintenance free lots proved extremely popular for retirees downsizing in retirement who liked to travel instead of maintaining gardens and lawns. This focused new approach proved very valuable for the business.

The core of the business for the property division was to provide expert supervision for the house Design and Construction. If a dwelling is built on solid foundations, then you have a solid house for years to come. A fully landscaped yard complete with full colour bond fencing to the allotment also proved very popular to the first home buyer market.

This was the key sector in early 1990 and again in early 2000 that the property division catered for. In return the business was rewarded with good business growth with solid capital investment.
